The spirit of ‘punk’!
PUNK A bunch of us went to Punk Karaoke yesterday at The Garage . Not only is it a really good Punk gig but your the singer (for only one song though). You get the opitunity to sing with a live band. It runs fortnightly, but make sure your on time.
The band do about four hours of songs, including classic punk songs and nu-skool tunes in a punk rock style. Don't worry about forgetting the words, they even provide you with the lyrics. It's the most hard core evening you can have in the whole of London!
The only major problem is the quality, it's not the standard three guys and a dog having a sing song where you can just get up muster your way through some old 'Simply Red' wank. Most the people who go up are really good . My favorite bit were Lou singing 'Gay Bar' and Simon belting out 'Beat on the Brat'. Keep London PUNK!
