State of emergency
PSN outage has caused alot of helter skelter. The outage occurred a few weeks after the George Holtz verdict. I guess his fans went crazy and brought the whole network down. The matter is continuing into the 2nd week and its was about time the Homeland security butted in as their 77 million user data base could be in jeopardy. With credit card details being let out to the bad guys, something needs to be done soon, but banks have reported on unusual activity in their accounts.
Holtz had cracked the PS3 for duplication purposes. His court trial didn’t turn out well for him hence the anonymous hacker/s broke into the network. Eyes were first turned towards Holtz as prime suspect - coordinated maybe? But whatever it is, the network is down and out, there is a mixed rage reaction from the players saying the some them are really mad and some of them don’t care cause it just a game. However all expect some compensation and something is being done about it.
The atmosphere is calm but Sony is freaking out, users are not in an attempt to sue them (except for a few cases). Some of them got their Ascis Gel Nimbus shoes on and running for cover. My personal opinion - things happen, let the company handle it. If you loose money from your credit card, get it reimbursed or if nothing is possible, then the gateway to suing is open. Till then, go out and play ball and soak up some sun.
