It’s always war here

I think out of all the places in the world Middle East is the place which has seen the most number of wars since the beginning of mankind. Over here there have always been wars or rumors of war. Even today if you check you will find that the situation has not really changed. The worst part is that more than the political leaders, it is the common population that want their country to go to war. I am not physically very fit, thanks to the clinical negligence of NHS, but even if I was fit I would not want war. War is not good and it only creates more problem and complication.

For the last few years tensions has been building between Israel and Iran. As per Iran’s religious ideology war is inevitable and Israel on the other hand threatens to make a preemptive strike on Iran. While tensions have gone high and low, thankfully war has been considered as the last option by Israel. Fortunately, most of the political leaders in Europe and US understand the kind of problems that could develop if Iran was to get nuclear bombs. The United Nation has approved quite a few sanctions, but it has not made any major difference on Iran’s policies. Their policies still remain the same and they are highly focused to get the nuclear bomb they have been working towards.

U.S and the European Union have approved another round of sanctions that would make it very difficult for any country to buy Iranian oil. Iran makes most of its money by selling oil and for the first time it seems like sanctions are making a difference and it seems like the Iranian government is forced to think whether to create the bomb or not. If Iran stops its quest to develop a nuclear bomb, then for the first time we will see a global problem solved without war. I think Israel has done a good job of playing the waiting game and I hope that this situation in the Middle East will not lead to another war.
